Hypnotherapy

Listen to Your Inner Voice

Your subconscious mind holds patterns, beliefs, and emotional experiences that can influence how you feel, think, and respond to life. Through hypnotherapy, I'll guide you to connect with your inner voice, explore what's beneath the challenges you're experiencing, and begin creating meaningful change.

Together, we'll work to reframe limiting beliefs, release old emotional patterns, and cultivate new ways of thinking and being. My approach may also integrate Reiki to support healing on both the mental and energetic levels.

My clients benefit from hypnotherapy for:

  • Emotional wounds and trauma healing

  • Inner-child healing and integration

  • Anxiety, stress, and emotional overwhelm

  • Fears and phobias

  • Insecurity and lack of confidence

  • Recurring emotional and behavioral patterns

  • Unwanted habits and compulsive behaviors

  • Personal growth and life transitions

  • And more

WHAT IS HYPNOTHERAPY?

WHAT IS HYPNOSIS?

Hypnosis is a state of deep relaxation in which your mind remains aware and focused. During a relaxed hypnotic state, your subconscious mind remains awake and clear, allowing you to connect more easily with your inner voice and become more receptive to suggestions that can support positive changes in your thoughts and behaviors.

Hypnosis is a natural state. When we are deeply focused on something, such as watching our favorite TV show, reading a book, or driving on the freeway, we may also experience a similar state of focused awareness.

HOW DOES HYPNOTHERAPY WORK?

As a hypnotherapist talks to you to guide you to a relaxed hypnotic state, your conscious mind becomes relaxed while your subconscious mind stays awake. This state allows us to explore your subconscious mind, including the patterns and beliefs that may influence your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.

During a hypnotherapy session, we may explore past experiences and limiting beliefs that contribute to your current challenges. By developing a new understanding of these experiences and reframing old patterns, you can become more receptive to new ideas and suggestions that support healthier, more balanced thoughts, feelings, and behaviors aligned with the results you desire.

HYPNOTHERAPY FOR TRAUMA & INNER-CHILD HEALING

Sometimes, the experiences we've been through continue to influence how we feel, think, and relate to ourselves and others, even long after those experiences have passed.

Through hypnotherapy, I guide you to gently explore subconscious patterns, emotional wounds, and past experiences that may be affecting your present life. This work may include inner-child healing, exploring limiting beliefs, and developing a new understanding of experiences that have shaped you.

Rather than simply focusing on surface-level symptoms, our sessions create space for deeper self-understanding, emotional healing, and meaningful change. We work at a pace that feels comfortable for you, without requiring you to relive painful experiences.

My approach integrates hypnotherapy, intuitive guidance, and Reiki when appropriate, supporting you in reconnecting with your inner strength, self-worth, and sense of wholeness.

WHAT ARE THE CONSCIOUS MIND AND SUBCONSCIOUS MIND?

The conscious mind is a “thinking” and “intellect” mind. It allows us to choose, accept, reject, and originate thoughts that come from our beliefs and external information.

The subconscious mind, sometimes referred to as the emotional mind or paradigm, is associated with automatic patterns, habits, emotional responses, and behaviors. Many of these patterns begin developing during childhood, as we learn to respond to our experiences and environment. Our emotions and imagination can influence these patterns, which in turn may affect our actions and behaviors.

The mind works to protect us, and it does a tremendous job of helping us navigate life. Many of the challenges I see in my practice may be connected to protective patterns in the subconscious mind. Although these automatic responses can be helpful, sometimes they continue long after the original circumstances have changed. When these patterns no longer serve us or prevent us from moving toward what is right for us, it may be time to explore them and begin moving forward.

There are other healing practices, such as daily meditation, affirmations, and visualization. However, changing patterns that have been part of our lives for many years can take time and practice. In hypnotherapy, we work with subconscious patterns and explore the underlying beliefs and experiences that may be contributing to your current challenges.

WHAT DOES IT FEEL LIKE TO BE HYPNOTIZED?

Most people feel deeply relaxed, peaceful, and comfortable during hypnosis. Your body may feel very relaxed while your mind remains clear and focused. For many people, it feels similar to a deep meditative state.

I HAVEN’T BEEN HYPNOTIZED AND BIT AFRAID OF WHAT WILL HAPPEN. WILL I BE UNCONSCIOUS OR LET GO OF MY WILL? AM I ABLE TO COME OUT OF THE HYPNOSIS?

One of the most common misconceptions about hypnosis comes from entertainment stage shows. Many people think that being hypnotized means being unconscious or losing control. However, hypnotherapy is different from stage hypnosis.

During a hypnotherapy session, you remain aware of your experience and retain the ability to make choices. You cannot be forced to say or reveal anything against your will. Hypnotherapy is a session focused on your well-being, and you can communicate with your hypnotherapist throughout the process.

Hypnosis is a natural state of focused attention and relaxation. You can come out of the hypnotic state whenever you need to. Another common misconception is that only weak-minded people can be hypnotized. In fact, the ability to engage in hypnosis is not a sign of weakness; concentration and willingness to participate can help you benefit from the experience.

DO YOU OFFER ONLINE SESSION? HOW DOES ONLINE HYPNOTHERAPY WORK?

Yes, I offer online hypnotherapy sessions via Zoom. You can sit back on a comfortable couch or chair and use a blanket and pillows to help you relax.

We'll begin with a counseling conversation to discuss your concerns and intentions, followed by hypnotherapy over Zoom. Online hypnotherapy allows you to experience a session from the comfort of your own home.

IS IT BENEFICIAL TO COMBINE WITH MY MEDICAL TREATMENT?

Yes. Hypnotherapy may complement medical treatment, particularly when addressing stress, anxiety, or coping with pain. It is not a substitute for medical care, but it may be a helpful complementary approach.

Mind and body affect each other, and a holistic approach can support overall well-being. I also recommend Reiki to complement recovery from surgery or illness and to support emotional well-being during challenging times.

HOW MUCH IS A SESSION AND HOW MANY SESSIONS ARE RECOMMENDED?

$380 for a 90-120 min session.

Each session includes counseling and hypnotherapy. The number of sessions varies depending on your individual needs and goals. Many people benefit from several sessions as they explore underlying patterns, develop new perspectives, and practice new ways of thinking and behaving.

My approach supports deeper self-understanding and emotional healing, helping you develop a new relationship with past experiences and move forward with greater awareness.

Sessions are available in person in Santa Monica or online via Zoom.

For those seeking deeper healing and support, I also offer a 6-session Transformation Healing Program for intensive healing and personal transformation.
